NEET UPDATE :Syllabus Update 2021

NEET 2021 syllabus is not confirmed to change but it is almost depends on the today's 11th and 12th circular classes.Because Due to covid 19 situation, students are attending online classes only.So,due to this it is hard to complete entire syllabus in online mode.However,We can't make online classes as like offline environment.On July 7,2020,CBSE anounced the 30% reduction syllabus as the people and authoritied demand.

On January 18, 2021 ,Next announcement that the NEET 2021 will be conducted based on the CBSE reduced syllabus But on January 19, 2021 Ramesh Pokhriyal (the Education Minister)has clarified by saying “as the curriculum (for board exams) was cut by 30 percent due to COVID-19, therefore in the upcoming competitive NEET 2021 exam, the candidates will have more options to answer the questions.” Official clarity on NEET 2021 syllabus and exam pattern with respect to choice of optional questions is still awaited.

UPDATE: On monday, The supreme court reacted for the changing of NEET syllabus at last minute and requested the government to held a meeting regarding this issue.The plea by 41 post-graduate doctors had challenged the abrupt changes contending that this was done to favour general medicine candidates. But in 2018, NEET SS involved 40 per cent of the questions from general medicine and 60 per cent from super speciality. But at this time,all questions are to be from general medicine.

As per the Javedur Rahman and 41 doctors plea,Students are preparing for the old model from the past few years.the plea leaved that dates of NEET-SS 2021 were announced on July 23, 2021.

A bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and BV Nagarathna on Monday questioned the government's to decide hurry to implement the change in the exam pattern.

"Don't treat these young doctors as footballs in the game of power...We can't put these doctors at the mercy of insensitive bureaucrats...Put your house in order...Just because somebody has the power, you can't yield the power in any manner," Justice Chandrachud said .And "This is so important for their careers. Now you cannot introduce changes last minute...These young doctors might be put at ruse due to last-minute changes," Justice Nagarathna said.

The court asked what the National Medical Commission was doing and reminded the government that the lives of doctors were involved in the issue.

The court said that students begin preparing for super speciality courses "months and months" in advance and asked why the changes cannot be introduced from the following year and not right away.
