India recorded 28,326 new cases of Covid-19 and 260 deaths overnight, said the health ministry on Sunday, marking a 4.3 per cent in numbers from Saturday.

Ministry said, The country has 33.6 million total Covid-19 cases and 4,46,918 people have died of the covid, said the ministry. Now 3,03,476 are activated cases.

Kerala Reports 15,951 fresh Covid-19 cases, 165 deaths
Kerala on Sunday registered 15,951 fresh COVID-19 cases and 165 deaths, which took the caseload to 46,29,915 and toll to 24,603.

 17,658 people get recovered from the covid from saturday which results the total recoveries to 44,41,430 and the number of active cases to 1,63,280, an official press release said.

Nashik sees 100 new Covid-19 cases, 113 recoveries
Nashik district in Maharashtra on Sunday reported 100 fresh coronavirus positive cases, taking the tally to 4,08,078, while 113 patients recovered, health officials said.

The death toll rose to 8,624 after one patient succumbed to the COVID-19 infection, they said.

Delhi reports zero Covid deaths, 29 new cases
The national capital reported 29 coronavirus cases and zero death on Sunday, while the positivity rate stood at 0.05 percent, according to data shared by the city health department.

The capital has recorded only three fatalities due to the infection in September so far
